High-grade oriented silicon steel has been officially applied in the Baihetan-Jiangsu ±800kV UHV DC power transmission project. The premium silicon steel material is adopted for all core converter transformers of the project.

The silicon steel features ultra-low core loss and high magnetic permeability, effectively minimizing power transmission loss during long-distance energy delivery. It greatly improves the energy transmission efficiency and stability of cross-regional west-to-east power transmission.

This high-performance silicon steel can withstand long-term high-load and stable operation, adapting to extreme operating conditions of UHV power grids and supporting safe and efficient operation of national key power infrastructure.
