1.2714 tool steel is a high-performance hot-work tool steel, exhibiting excellent toughness, thermal fatigue resistance and hardenability. It is widely used in the manufacture of large forging dies, hot-cutting blades, extrusion tools and thermoplastic moulds. Through specific annealing, hardening and tempering heat treatment processes, its mechanical properties can be further optimised.<\/p>
